Eco-friendly finishes
HomeComing Woodworks always uses water-based finishes whenever possible. Traditional oil- and lacquer-based finishes pollute the environment (and human lungs) with potent toxins. Water-based lacquers, polyurethanes, stains and paints are increasingly popular because they are far more environmentally-friendly and safe. We have found that water-based finishes yield results which are equal to those of traditional oil finishes in terms of quality.
