Custom Design Process
You will love the result!
How can we be sure of that? Because we create for your review realistic, detailed, three-dimensional, color drawings of your design, showing the setting in your room. We will not start construction until you approve the design, and you will not approve it until you love it.
Here's how the process works:
1. Meet with HomeComing Woodworks Master Designer, Will Eick, to describe your needs and ideas, and identify the space you'd like to transform. He will offer guidance, discuss architectural styles and explain various options.
2. Review the concept drawings and price proposal we will create for you. Concept drawings illustrate our understanding of what you want, and define the scope of the project, which allows us to give you a price estimate. If you like what you see, and the price is acceptable, we will proceed to the design phase.
3. Give us feedback on the design drawings which we will create for you. Design drawings are more detailed and incorporate the style and design elements of your project. Design drawings show you exactly how your finished project will look in the room setting, complete with an accurate 3-D rendering of your design.
4. Refine and approve. It may take several iterations of the design drawings to achieve the exact look you would like. Only when we achieve it, you give your approval to the final design.
5. Look forward to enjoying your new built-in. It will transform your home!
Pricing: You will receive price estimates with your initial concept drawings. Generally, if the project you finally choose is similar in size and scope to the drawings, then you can expect the final price to be very close to the price estimate given. Once we complete the design phase (after you have approved your design, but before we begin construction) we will give you an exact fixed-price quote for construction of your project.
